Jūlija Tereščenko is a doctoral candidate in History and Archaeology at Daugavpils University (Latvia) and an invited expert at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Latvia. Her dissertation examines the deportation of Hungarian Jewish women from Auschwitz to Latvia in 1944 and their later transfer to Stutthof. Combining oral history, camp documentation, museum collections, and digital humanities methods, her research reconstructs fragmented deportation trajectories and addresses a significant gap in Holocaust historiography.
