Franciszek Zakrzewski is a historian and exhibitions curator. He received his PhD from the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris (EHESS, France). His dissertation focused on intergroup relations in Lubartów, Poland, before and during World War II. Franciszek was a member of the curatorial team for the Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews (Poland) Core Exhibition and is a member of the ERC Lubartworld research team. He works as a researcher at the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw. Franciszek co-edited the volume of documents from the Ringelblum Archive. His publications appeared in edited collections and in Genèses and La Revue d’Histoire de la Shoah. He has been awarded fellowships from the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah (2022-2024) and the Global Education Outreach Program Polin Museum (2022-2023).
